What Data the Coach Uses
Here's exactly what your Coach looks at before it answers you or builds your plan:
- Ride metrics: Every ride you've synced, power, heart rate, cadence, duration, distance
- Training load: Your fitness and fatigue numbers (CTL, ATL, TSB)
- Recovery signals: Sleep and HRV, if your device tracks it
- Performance baseline: Your FTP history
- Schedule context: Your upcoming plan and calendar
It doesn't use anything beyond your training and wellness data. It's strictly cycling-focused plans and workouts it writes are for cycling only, even if other sports show up in your history.
Ask your Coach:
- "What happens to my data if I disconnect?"
What Your Coach Will Not Do
Being clear about limits builds more trust than pretending there aren't any.
- No multi-sport programming: Running and other activities show up in your history, but plans and workouts it writes are cycling only.
- No medical diagnostics: It can tell you your HRV is down. It can't tell you why, that's a job for a doctor.
- No silent changes: No workout is moved, rewritten, added, or deleted without you tapping a button.
- No fabricated metrics: If the data isn't there, it says so instead of guessing.
